Sitting alone with my thoughts at my keyboard gave me ample time to reflect on not only the meaning of legacy, but also the indicators of its existence. One’s legacy doesn’t have to be big or wide. It doesn’t have to be global. Any individual who comes from a loving place has the opportunity to leave his or her legacy. Believe in yourself and know that you help shape the world by being you.

This is so beautiful Bonnie! I have actually been reflecting a great bit lately on this topic as the current year comes to a close and the New Year is turning the corner. I am reflecting from deep within my soul searching where my hands, heart and mind have been. I’m just me. No one in a spotlight but I do know that my legacy is eternal and its rewards will be presented to me in eternity when I meet the Great Creator. For now, while on this big blue ball we call Earth, I look a little deeper these days. Hoping that I see others as light from above , light seeking my light, perhaps some darkness in need of light. Have I passed on memories that will be remembered as kindness. Was my walking about here with meaning and purpose? – YES! It was, it is. That paintbrush sitting in the corner will get used again.
