Life is a journey. Each of our lives is a reflection of the experiences we have, the people we meet, the thoughts we consider and the feelings we embrace.
Life is meant to be shared. No one chooses to travel life alone. Joy is in the shared journey. It’s those opportunities we say “Yes” to the people we meet or invite along the way and the “ah ha” moments that awaken us to a new way of looking at something familiar. Our journeys continue day to day, as one experience follows another. The journey embraces people who impact us, circumstances and changes we can’t control, the choices and decisions we make and the effect of those actions over time. The road is comprised of trial and error, risks and opportunities, pleasure and disappointment.
The word “our” lies within the word “journey”. How we conduct ourselves and the value we place on our relationships both determine the quality of our life. Consider embracing unconditional love everywhere you go, toward everyone you meet and in all you do. Set an example of what IS possible when we truly live our lives appreciating one another. Set a high standard of behavior that will not be compromised. Live with integrity. Together, we can grow the global heart. When one contact leads to another and we become beacon of positive light and love to those we touch, we truly will know that ‘our’ journey is making a difference. Know you have within you the capacity to brighten the world you touch.

How refreshing. We are always on a journey and how we handle it says a lot for the person. I always try to think positive.
As long as we’ve ‘reconnected’ I view you as VERY positive. So, continue to be who you are!
Bonnie – Your words resonate to very much with me. I have been blessed with many wonderful friends, some I consider family. They have been through many journey’s with me, happy and sad. But more importantly, I love how you ask us to love everywhere we go. Spreading kindness to the daily stranger is something that I love to do. The best part, is not only does it bring a smile to someone else, but it makes me smile to see that!

Inspirational. It never occurred to me that “our” was central to Journey.

Bonnie, you have been such an inspiration since the first time we connected. Im sure you don’t remember because you meet so many people but we met at a pro-networkers event several years ago and we only spoke briefly at that time. However, you provided bumper stickers to the guests “Get Up, Get Out, Get Going”. This lives in my home office and often encourages me to get up, get out and get going! Hoping it encourages others who walk in my office too! 🙂
I always like to maintain a positive mindeset and try to always find the silver linining, because you know there always is one! One of my favorite poems that I go to in troubled times (other than my faith of course) is called “Attitude”. Here it is if you would like to read it.

It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The light that shines within us all shines brighter when we come together… the flame of one candle when joined with others, quickly becomes a celebratory bonfire that lights the sky.
